FAQ’s

What is your relationship to Central Eastside Industrial Council?

Central Eastside Together (CET) was formed through the advocacy efforts of the Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC) and local business owners. In 2021, the CET received nonprofit status and operates independently with a separate Board of Directors. The CEIC and CET are affiliate organizations that work together to advance the Central Eastside through innovative programs and services.

CEIC is a 501(c)(6) and exists to advance policy through it its members, while the CET is a 501(c)(3) and stewards its resources for maximum community benefit.

I want to see Central Eastside Together grow, can I make a donation?

Yes, absolutely! Central Eastside Together thrives with community support. Donations received support our current programs, including cleaning, safety, and various enhancement and community projects. Please see Donate button in header above.

How are you currently funded?

Each property in the Central Eastside Together boundary pays a ‘Property Management License Fee’ to the City of Portland based on the size, improved value, and the usage of their land/building. The city contributes additional funds to provide enhanced services that go beyond the city’s basic services.

How can I provide feedback on your programs?

We host quarterly meetings to discuss our services with the CEID community. If you would like to learn more about these meetings, please join our e-mailing list below, or provide feedback via this form.
