Central Eastside Together safety services are dedicated to creating a safe community to live, work, stay, and play. Our collaborative initiative focuses on community engagement and public-private partnerships. Our services promote improved safety through presence patrol, de-escalation, and crime prevention education to support local businesses.

Safety services are available to all who live, work, and visit the Central Eastside. Please note, we are unable to dispatch via email. If your matter is urgent and you need immediate assistance please call our dispatch.

Our safety services are available 7 days a week, 20 hours a day. Safety Ambassadors are available as early as 6am working through the night until 2am.

Our safety teams provide presence patrol, safe-walk chaperones, and de-escalation services. They can also help escalate situations to law enforcement as appropriate.

Safety Ambassadors are civilians and not law enforcement; they will not undertake any criminal investigation or perform citizen’s arrests except in an emergency or when specifically requested or directed by Portland Police Bureau officers to assist.

Our Securitas District Manager offers the locally focused commitment of a small business owner, with responsibility for local operations. This provides the freedom to contextualize our service for the needs of the Central Eastside.
